4 Easy Christmas Medical Practice Marketing Ideas
Christmas is one of my very favorite times of year - not just on a personal level, but on a professional level as an Medical Practice marketer. There are so many fun and creative ways you can incorporate the holiday season into your marketing plans. 1. Deliver a Hot Cocoa Bar One of the members of my marketing team came up with a really creative idea this year. She delivered "Hot Cocoa Bars" to area businesses to promote our Medical Practice. The investment was minimal, but the smiles it brought made it much easier for her to be able to share information about our Medical Practice facilities with individuals. The hot cocoa bars were simply a few logoed coffee mugs (stuffed with a hot cocoa packet, marshmallows, peppermints, and caramels), tucked into a cute Christmas box with a label that read, "When hot chocolate doesn't cure your chills, come and see your friends at HealthCARE Express." 2. Create a Christmas Video Each year in December our team members celebrate "Pajama Day". As a marketer, I like to take advantage of the festivities by getting team members at the different locations to create the annual HealthCARE Express Christmas Carol Card that we e-mail to all of our patients. Create a Healthy Holiday Recipe Cookbook One really easy thing to do is solicit healthy holiday recipe alternatives from your employees and create a holiday cookbook. The cookbook can be posted on your website and linked to your Pinterest account. If your budget allows, you might also consider printing hard copies to give out to your patients throughout the entire month of December. 4. Host a Photos with Christmas Characters Day Last year we hosted a "Photos with The Grinch" day at one of our Medical Practices. For two hours one evening we opened our clinic to the public to bring their kids in to meet The Grinch and our mascot, Klondike. In addition to getting to take photos with both of them by our Christmas tree, parents also got to go on a tour of our Medical Practice before enjoying free cookies and punch in our lobby, where they mingled with our medical team. These 4 tips are just the beginning of what your Medical Practice can do during the holidays to grow awareness and spread holiday cheer at the same time.
